On strike, legal counselors give court a miss

New Delhi: The Delhi high court on Friday wore a left look as legal counselors addressed the Bar Council of India's require a strike.

BCI administrator Manan Kumar Mishra said that "unfortunate behavior" has been characterized in a "provocative" way in the proposed Bill and would make it troublesome and unsafe for a legal advisor to acknowledge the brief of any customer. Mishra disclosed to TOI that he and other office bearers met the Union law serve Ravi Shankar Prasad and are cheerful for an answer.

"Carelessness, not appearing due industriousness, rowdiness, despicable direct (towards the customer or towards the court or anyone) adds up to offense under the meaning of Law Commission of India," BCI stated, in a discharge, guaranteeing it will prompt usurping of their entitlement to dissent.

BCI, which is the zenith group of legal advisors, had required a countrywide strike, saying the suggestions were against their interests.
