Hyderabad/Vijayawada: Former Andhra Pradesh pastor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pioneer Devineni Nehru passed on of heart failure on Monday, his relatives said. He was 65.
Nehru, whose genuine name was Devineni Rajasekhar, was experiencing kidney related diseases and was released from a healing facility in Hyderabad a couple days prior.
His body was moved to Vijayawada, where last rituals will be performed on Tuesday.
Famous as Nehru among his devotees, he had joined TDP when it was glided by actor N.T. Rama Rao in mid 1982.
